Show your access QR
Find your pass and refresh it before presenting it at a reader.
Before you begin
- Sign in and select the correct building.
- Check that the building uses the Spaze QR pass.
- Keep an internet connection available to request or refresh the pass.
Step by step
Open Access
Tap Access in the app. If the page opens in Scan mode, choose Show QR to display your own pass.
Wait for your pass
The app requests a QR for the selected building. Keep the code visible for the reader.
Check the countdown
Look at the expiry time below the pass. Use Refresh when the pass has expired or when you need a new one.
Present it at the reader
Show the live QR at the building's compatible reader. The reader applies the access permissions configured for your account.
You’re ready when
A current access QR is visible and ready for the building's reader.
Troubleshooting
- I see a web page instead of Show QR
- The building has configured a partner access page. Follow that page's instructions. The building administrator chooses between partner access and the native pass.
- The pass does not load or has expired
- Check your connection and selected building, then tap Refresh. If a fresh pass is still refused by the reader, ask the building team to check your access permissions.
Common questions
- What is Scan for?
- Scan reads invitation QR codes or links with the native app camera. Showing your own QR does not require camera access. Web previews may offer Show my QR when scanning is unavailable.
